Why does Sugar exist?

The world is not fair for most people, and we are trying to make it fairer by allocating wealth across the society more evenly, and therefore reducing the wealth inequality, improving lives.

The way we achieve that is by creating easy-to-use, yield-generating products, and most importantly the products have to be accessible to everyone - not just the billionaire.

The only way that such products can be accessible to everyone is through DeFi, or Decentralized Finance, where anyone, regardless of his or her social status, backgrounds, family histories, and etc, can use it - without having to apply to a centralized settings first and waiting for approval.

That’s likely why no banks or companies offer APYs above 5%—not because they can’t, but because they’re not allowed to make such products available to the general public.
